Sasanian Siahgel Fire Place

About 1.200 to 1.300 years ago

    This historical building, which is an important symbol of the history of Ilam, has a square porch measuring 5×5 meters and about 10 meters high. This building is made of stone, mortar and plaster, and its architecture is related to the Sassanid period.

    The diameter of its walls is one meter, it has a fire pit and in the upper part, there are holes that may be for the exit of smoke from fuel. The building was surrounded by a courtyard, but now it has been destroyed due to natural and unnatural factors.
